Questions, answered

Everything you might want to know before you get started.

No. Daily Equilibrium is not therapy and is not intended to diagnose or treat mental or physical health conditions. Daily Equilibrium is an evidence-informed wellbeing app designed to help you reflect on your daily routines, build healthy habits and increase awareness of how your everyday activities influence your wellbeing. The app draws upon established principles from Occupational Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), but it is intended as a wellness and self-management tool, rather than a replacement for professional healthcare or psychological therapy. If you are experiencing significant mental health difficulties or are concerned about your wellbeing, you should seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional.

Daily Equilibrium doesn’t focus on just one aspect of wellbeing, such as mindfulness, exercise or habit tracking. Instead, it brings together evidence-informed principles from Occupational Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to help you understand how your daily activities, routines and habits work together to influence your wellbeing. By combining activity tracking, mood monitoring, personalised AI insights, habit building and educational content, the app supports you in creating a lifestyle that is meaningful, balanced and unique to you.

Yes. Many people find that reflecting on their daily routines and habits complements the work they are already doing in therapy. Daily Equilibrium may help you become more aware of your activities, routines and mood between therapy sessions, providing additional opportunities for reflection and helping you put healthy habits into practice. If you’re unsure whether the app is appropriate for your individual circumstances, speak with your therapist or healthcare professional.

Daily Equilibrium has been designed for adults who would like to better understand their daily routines and develop healthier habits that support their wellbeing. Whether you’re balancing work, study, family life, retirement or simply looking to improve your daily routine, the app can help you reflect on how you spend your time and identify small, sustainable changes that are meaningful to you. No previous knowledge of Occupational Therapy or CBT is needed.

No. Daily Equilibrium encourages you to reflect on seven important areas of everyday life, but there is no expectation that every category will receive equal attention every week. Life naturally changes. Work commitments, family responsibilities, holidays, illness and unexpected events all influence how we spend our time. The aim is not perfection. Instead, the app encourages awareness of your routines and helps you recognise whether any important areas of your wellbeing may have been unintentionally overlooked over time. Your balance should reflect your individual circumstances, priorities and values.

The AI within Daily Equilibrium analyses the information you choose to record, such as your activities, routines and mood, to provide personalised insights and encourage reflection. These insights are designed to help you recognise patterns, identify strengths and consider small changes that may support your wellbeing. The AI does not diagnose mental health conditions, provide therapy or replace professional healthcare advice. It is intended as a supportive tool to increase self-awareness and promote healthy habit formation.

Daily Equilibrium has been designed to fit into everyday life. Most users can complete their daily activity log and mood check in just a few minutes. The app also includes features such as Copy Yesterday and Copy This Day Last Week to make recording your routine even quicker. You can spend as little or as much time exploring your graphs, insights and educational content as you choose.

Yes. Daily Equilibrium encourages a personalised approach to wellbeing. While the app includes suggested goals and a ‘Preferred Lifestyle’ example to help you get started, these are intended as guides only. You are encouraged to customise your own goals and preferred lifestyle so they reflect your personal values, responsibilities and circumstances. The aim is to engage in each of the seven categories on a weekly basis. As your life changes, your goals can change too.

Protecting your privacy is extremely important. Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation. You remain in control of the information you choose to record within the app. For more information about how your information is collected, stored and used, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Daily Equilibrium has been designed as a general wellbeing app for adults. It is not intended to provide crisis support or replace professional medical or psychological care. If you are experiencing severe emotional distress, thoughts of self-harm, or are concerned about your safety or the safety of someone else, you should seek immediate support from your local emergency services or an appropriate healthcare professional.

Daily Equilibrium is free for the first 7 days of use. The Free version allows you to explore the core features of the app and begin reflecting on your daily routines. Premium provides additional tools, including enhanced tracking, more detailed graphs, personalised AI insights and expanded habit-building features, helping you gain a deeper understanding of your wellbeing over time.

Research in Occupational Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy has consistently shown that our daily activities, routines and habits play an important role in our physical and mental wellbeing. The activities we engage in each day influence our mood, energy, sense of purpose, relationships and overall quality of life. Daily Equilibrium helps you become more aware of these patterns so you can make informed decisions about the routines that best support your wellbeing.

Yes. Daily Equilibrium can complement other wellbeing tools, such as fitness trackers, meditation apps or sleep monitoring apps. Rather than replacing these tools, Daily Equilibrium brings together different aspects of everyday life to help you understand how your activities work together to influence your overall wellbeing.

Yes. Daily Equilibrium was developed by Kassiann Nair, a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and former Occupational Therapist, and is informed by established Occupational Therapy principles, including Occupational Balance and the importance of engaging in meaningful daily activities. The app also incorporates concepts from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), encouraging users to reflect on the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, behaviours and everyday routines. While Daily Equilibrium is informed by these evidence-based approaches, it is designed as a wellbeing and self-management tool and is not intended to replace professional assessment or treatment.
